W.A.L.T: Design and recreate a food package that will reduce waste

PROBLEM: many companies make food packaging out of plastic. All this plastic is ending up in our environment.  

This term for our Topic we have been doing Technology. We have been recreating plastic rubbish in our lunch boxes. Because the plastic in our lunch boxes is going in to our environment and killing our animals. So we selected a plastic rubbish in our lunch box to recreate to help our environment and help the animals.

Hey whats up guys. Me and my class have been learning about capitals of country's .

I've been learning about the capital of mexico. I would like to go to mexico because there are new food to try.   

 Here are some facts

• Mexico has 119.5 million people.
• The capital of Mexico is called Mexico city.
•  Most people from mexico speak Spanish Because mexico doesn't have a language .

last week my group and i have been learning about mussels.

I am learning to read and find the appropriate information I am searching for.

Did you know that smiling uses 15 muscles
Did you know that frowning uses 40 muscles
Did you know that walking uses 200 muscles.

Food that builds strong muscles

Heart to Heart with Pa from Rarotonga

Today I learned new words

Mana - Tiaki

(Tiaki means keeper or guardian and mana translates as influence or power)

Today we went on Pa's Discovery Nature Walk

Pa is a medicine man that helps sick people and anyone that wants to know more 

about nature's medicines.

Pa sat us down, told and showed us some special fruits of Rarotonga

After the talk we went on a hike through the  noni plantation, taro field and papaya fruit trees.

I also learned about the 1200 year old Chestnut trees.

(eaten as meat)

When we finished the hike we had Lunch, salad roll and fruit 

(nothing tastes better than banana's fresh off the tree)

Pa told us about his life and showed us a book about him.

Pa called me his baby and I ask him if he could fix the scar on my lip and he spoke to the spirits for me.

He was a very nice man.

mystical creatures

                                   

On Thursday we answered 3 questions about mystical creatures. The 3 we looked at were unicorns, dragons and sea creatures. We looked at what they eat, what their purpose is and what they look like too. We looked at these creatures because we are making our own world with mystical creatures in them. Me and Tiana know that unicorns are real. Shylah got a unicorn that looked like it had a sword on it's head.  

IT was really fun learning about mystical creatures and I am looking forward to creating my own.

My Birthday party

My Birthday party

It was my birthday on April 21st .Talisa was the first person at my house, Then Shylah and Tiana  came at the same time 10:00. We watched youtube on my TV. Then we open my presents.

Then we had had Lunch and watched the movie Peter the Rabbit. It was very funny. Then we played on the trampoline, I was chasing Shylah in my backyard it was funny. Then we went to the movies . The movie was Sherlock gnomes.while we were watching the the movie. I had all my food shylah give me some of her food.

Then after the  movie were fisht we got in the car. i tried to put lipstick on Talisa. when we got back their were 2 kittens hiding they were so so cute.

After Tailsa and Shylah went home. Me and Tiana playing with the kittens. My dad named the boy ven my mum named the girl willow. my dad put ven outside.

I Would do this all again Because i loved it. And i think everyone had a fun time. So i’m going to tall my mum to save up her money.

I took the teams and added them together. then took the ones and added them together. all together it made  91.

Its my first day at school. I’m amazed that we are going to see

He had a new assistant . His name was Ben. ELGREGOE had 6 birds.
He got a boy to be his puppet . He put a mask on his mouth .

He got to choose 50 dollars or 100 dollars or a stretchy string. He choose the stretchy string.
