SLJ Colouring in

 Colouring

Hola readers,

For our first task of summer learning journey we started with kick start. Kick start was a colouring in task. The colouring in was faster than real colouring in.

This task was so fun to do and it was fast and I think that the rest of the tasks are going to be fun.

😋Thank you for reading bye😋

  1. Kia Ora Sonnie,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

What juicy watermelons you’ve painted! They look delicious and very in theme with the Summer Learning Journey this year: celebrating summer. Your colour combination is incredible, you’ve done a fantastic job contrasting the red and turquoise! I also really like that you’ve made the napkins yellow and the window blue to incorporate a rainbow of colours. It makes your painting really stand out.

I love eating watermelon, it’s one of my favourite fruits! Well, that and strawberries! What’re your favourite fruits?

Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

When I read your post I really liked the fact you chose that one and I learnt the water melon colour.

Look back and try to write more and you could put better colours you could like put the colours you last eaten the watermelon.

When did you make the watermelon and when did you post it?

  5. Hello Sonnie.
I'm glad that you have picked a different picture from most of your class.
I like that you made the inside of the watermelon look so juicy!.
It gives the reader a picture in their head that they can relate back to one that they might have eaten.
Do you think that the skin colour could of been a bit more of a green?.
    Have a great holiday.
