Hola amazing readers,



For today's blog I will telling you about the math me and my class did yesterday.

So our math this week we have been looking at math patterns and seeing what kind of math equations we can see inside of the patterns, i noticed that the pattern was timesing.

All we need to do to start our math was to go to our class site and go to the math section of the site anew click on a link to make a copy of a goggle drawing with the pattern on it .

YOU NEED TO:
  1. Make a copy of the drawing

  2. Fill in the spaces with your answers

  3. Post it on your own blog

This is the work I did on my google drawing.

Some of these questions were hard but once you reread you kinda get to understand what its asking you to do .I thought that it was like 7 x 2 but it added one more dot so it equaled 15 not 14.

Coral

Coral can come in many colours the colours are form algae that sinks in the coral. Corals are actually animals they breath they eat. Coral eat tiny little animals called zooplankton.
 

FACTS

1.  Sunblock can kill coral  
2. If one coral dies that is in a big reef of corals all may die
3. The most rarest coral colour is Angel Skin Coral
4. Corals were used as rocks for houses on some islands 

Manta rays 

This section of my blog is about manta rays.

manta rays are flat but weighted sea creatures but the have a small long tail witch is not like there cousins tails sting rays have stinging tails and manta ray tails don't do anything. Manta rays are one of the most largest fish in the world.

FACTS

1. Manta rays are cousins to sting rays but don't have a stinger
2. You can tell which breed a manta ray is by looking at the spots on the bottoms of them and by looking at this link
3. A manta rays mouth can get up to 29 feet

Today I am going to tell you how to make some Pastry Wrapped Caramel Apple Pies.

So my mum was searching up recipe for apple pies and found these really cool one made with hole apples and the site where my mun got the recipe is thatskinnychickcanbake.com it has so many recipes on pies and other things to bake so I would suggest going on that site if you want to bake a pie.


The first step you do for the apple pies is shave an apple and take the core out, then mix sugar and cinnamon together then we cote the apples in that mixer . But also preheat the oven to 400º.

After cottoning the apples use puff pastry to cover the apples but leave the top not covered and put a bit of chocolate or what ever you want in the empty hole in the centre of the apple.

Make 2 leafs out of puff pastry so that the pastry looks like an apple made out of pastry.

After making the leafs mix one egg with 1 tea spoon of water and use a cooking brash to cote the pastry to help it brown up.

I don't know the rest so just look at the recipe on the site at the bottom of the apple.

When I was baking it I was like I don't like apple pies but I do like cinnamon, chocolate and pastry mix together. It was amazing with ice-cream and wiped cream, the chocolate in the middle of the apple just added more flavor cause it was a caramel chocolate and just add more chocolate after its cooked because the chocolate that you added before would be in the bottom of the apple. How to Make Pancakes

How to Make Pancakes

Kia guys.

Today i'm teach you how to make pancakes. Make sure to read everything so you don't get anything wrong . OK lets get started .

1.  Whisk 1 1/2 cups flour

2.  3 tablespoons sugar

3.  1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

4.  1/2 teaspoon salt

5.  1/4 teaspoon baking soda in a medium bowl 

6.  Whisk 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk

7.  4 tablespoons melted butter 

8.  1 egg in a separate bowl

9.  Fold into the flour mixture until just combined 

(it's OK if there are some lumps). 

10. Put a pan onto stove 

11. Put stove it to medium heat

12. Put oil in the pan

13. Wait for the pan to heat up then add you pancake batter

14. Wait for bubbles to pop

15. Then flip and wait

16. Then when nice and cooked put onto a plate and eat
(You can add butter or maple syrup if you want)

Today I am going to tell you about some more agates I got today, so when ever we go its all ways me my mum and dad my sisters to lazy so she doesn't come and she is usually at work, when we get home with all are agates we grab 3 canters and put our agates in them then we wet them to see how they really look like, then we mix them together and oil them to make them shine.

Birdlings flat

BIRDLINGS FLAT

So yesterday i went to Birdlings flat with my mum and dad, we were going to go fishing but we didn't. so we just walked all the way to the cliff at the end of the beach on the way we picked up all the crystal we could see after walking for a while we ran in to and old man the has an eye for crystals he could spot out hundreds of crystals that we couldn't see he sported about 10 for us and then he walk away. we just kept walking and walking my dad ran into the old man again me and my mum where right next to the cliff I climbed up a rock right next to the water once I sat down my mum took photos and I hoped down and went to look at the water then the water came right in I had to clime a small rock a couple of inches from the water  and the reason i didn't want to get wet was I didn't want to get sucked in to the water the water is strong and deep at Birdlings flat. When the water went a way I hopped off the rock and went over to my mum and we just kept searching and searching and I found a big crystal and then my mum thorough that she saw one bigger than mine so when she tryed to pick it up I pushed her over and picked it up but it wasn't even crystal it was a boring old rock i found two more then we started to head back to the car park, on our way there i picked up couple more it was a very hot day and it took as for ever to get back to the car. onece we reached the car we left the end.

 I found this crystal last week now we like to call it alien rock zoom in if you want to  a cool pattern. 

This agate is a light caramel and creamy white colour. 

 This agate just remind me of chocolate.

 I was just thinking on what this reminds me of and then it hit me a foot that's what it looks like a foot.

 This is petrified wood that is now a stone. 

OK this one I found and I think it look amazing.

What i wanted

So this is the cake I wanted, by the way this was a rush drawing so it looks bad. I told my mum I wanted this kind of cake and she asked my why I said cause I like to go on adventures and said that this cake is like you just have to grad a vines and swing over the water. and the balls on top are cake pops cause I really like cake pops. It was hard to find the right colour I wanted on my cake and we I mixed a dark green and blue together I really liked it so I picked it.  

What i got

So this is the cake my mum made for me, it was better than I expedited I knew that she would nalie making the roses because we all ways make roses with each other all the time. I just can't wait to eat it.

This week we have been doing narrative writing.

Narrative writing is when you have to tell us where, who, time, at the beginning of the story, then it moves onto problem 1 which is, what problem begins to happen. Then its problem 2 which is, how does the problem get worse. Then the climax is, what could get worse. after the climax is the resolution, what happens to fix the problem. Then the ending finally, what happens in the end, how does everything work out.

That's what i know about a narrative writing. My narrative writing is right down below if you want to read it.

Our Bug Topic

I don't know what day we started this slide but we started to learn about bugs, we learnt so many facts and just one joke. The first thing we had to do was find a partner to make a slide with, my partner was Talisa . Then after we found a partner we had to make a slide. before we started making the slide Talisa said a joke that was "bee positive". 
When we finished all our writing we were allowed to decorate but Talisa didn't like any backgrounds so I said she could pick. 

If you don't know what pollinators and decomposers are I'll tell you. Pollinators are the work bees because work bees collect the pollen from the flowers and then drop it off at other plants which means they are cross pollinated and can produce fruit. The decomposes are the worms, they eat the dirt and poop out soil. Here is the side me and Talisa made.

winter sport

Winter Sport

Kia orana guys. Every Friday when its winter its winter sport in the afternoon. The sport that I am playing in is netball. My team was Rubies but on the first Friday sport game I had to go in Sapphires since they had three team members away. We had to go to the high school.

I had an advantage because I was versing one of my friends and so of there school. Guess what happened WE WON THE GAME.

Bad luck that can happen is not being allowed to play when you are sick. This happened once i was sick for one week.
