Narrative Writing

Narrative Writing

Kia Readers

This week we have been doing narrative writing.

Narrative writing is when you have to tell us where, who, time, at the beginning of the story, then it moves onto problem 1 which is, what problem begins to happen. Then its problem 2 which is, how does the problem get worse. Then the climax is, what could get worse. after the climax is the resolution, what happens to fix the problem. Then the ending finally, what happens in the end, how does everything work out.

That's what i know about a narrative writing. My narrative writing is right down below if you want to read it.

  1. Wow Sonnie!

What an incredible effort you have put into your writing and into your blog post. I enjoyed reading your post from the moment I opened it. It is such a pleasure reading a quality blog post with a greeting an an explanation of your thoughts and the task. Top marks for your blog.

Now to your writing! What a neat narrative filled with humour, interesting ideas, and lots of dialogue. you have done well organising your narrative structure correctly and resolving your major problem so that your narrative ends in a tidy and clear way. I wasn't confused by any of the stages in your story and was able to picture in my mind what was happening and where Jenny was at each stage of your story.

Thank you for putting in an incredible effort and I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

  2. Hi Sonnie. Wow, where did you get your knowledge of food order numbers? It was a very interesting narrative to read and all good stories need a baddy! I'm pleased the hair was all found and your heroine had an interesting evening.Lots of lovely work...well done.

  3. Good morning Sonnie.Jenny certainly ha a few problems before she even leaves the house.(A mermaid dress that's ripped and she has to leave in 10 minutes, but she needs to fix the dress first). It sounds like Jenny could do with Cinderella's Godmother.
What a great story Sonnie.I had a giggle at the end.If someone found a hair at a restaurant that I was eating at,I'd hope they'd use a quiet voice to say they'd found it.

    Keep up the super stories.
