Hyperboles

Kiaorana readers,

This week we have been working on hyperboles which are lies which aren't meant to be taken seriously. I learnt this before in my reading group earlier this year when we were reading 'Here comes the Sun'.
A hyperbole is part of the langauge feature topic that we have been working on this term.

Here are some of the hyperboles I have found.

Disney Movie:

Its so fluffy i could die

I so hungry i could eat a whole elephant

Worlds best coffee 

When i was a lad i would eat 4 Dozen eggs every morning  




RAP:
My feet are killing meh

The greatest deal in shopping history

The blue ox could eat all the food in one day the one crew could tote to camp one year

If a rattlesnake bite his feet it would die immediately

If i don’t get to the mall tonight i am going to die

You have a smile that could light up the hole town

I hunger i could eat a horse

    Hello Sonnie.
    I remember using some of these hyberboles when I was younger.I am sure that my mum has said some of these to me too.The one I remember most is the one about eating a horse.
    Have you heard your mum or dad say any of these?.
